Great Service!
This is my Orient Star wz0141er. It is arguably my favorite finds this year and is unique in my collection given its rarity and rather incredible design inspired by Panerai and the Rolex Explorer.
Yet there was a problem with it. It rattled. The watch worked totally fine but with certain movements you could hear a rattle from the inside. It was annoying but harmless but certainly one worth investigating.
By chance I took the watch to an Albert's Jewelry in Schererville, Indiana. I was greeted, welcomed, explained the problem and it was taken to the back. A few minutes later their in-house watchmaker comes out and explains what was wrong and that he tightened some bits and swapped a gasket. No charge! And the watch is now rattle free!
I then proceeded to try on a number of pieces including an AP Royal Oak, a vintage Omega Constellation, a Navitimer, an Alpinist, a King Seiko, and an Oris Pointer Date that they were more than happy to show me!
Great service and absolutely recommended for anyone looking for an AD or watch repair in the Chicagoland/ NW Indiana area!
