I finally found the "Q" for my collection...

As some of you may recall, I posted a previous article on the A to Z in my collection and was able to fill all the letters (including X eventually) except for Q.

Some of you had posted brands like Q + Q or suggested Q by Timex (which I indeed have in the collection).

But I wanted a proper Q that fit my collection and wasn't just a space filler.

Then one of you posted your Quasar (don't recall who it was but feel free to post below as it is you I have to thank for helping me to find my Q).

Boom!

The Quasar Starlight...

What a beautiful watch...aventurine dial...Miyota mechanical movement...and a great price for less than $400...

I'm ashamed...today was a 3WD (three watch day)...

My Nezumi Tonnerre Limited Edition (Swedish) and my two varities of the ARPIEM Tribute (French) arrived today...part of my support for global microbrands...

Sad to say the affliction continues...stay tuned for more reports of reckless spending...

I have been looking at Nezumi, just this week in fact. It is only that I have committed a lot of money to restoring a 65 year old watch that kept my credit card in my pocket.

Greg as you know too well the cost of repairs on vintage watches can definitely take a toll on the wallet.

I have several Nezumis and have not had any issues with them - both the mechanical and mecaquartz varities.

Such a cool brand and super nice people.

Here are the others in the collection...

Me too!

I have to check myself or I'll have a pile of watchboxes with Aventurine dials in them 😀

QAnon and the “big tent conspiracy theory.” 🤔🤪

That's a beauty man, never heard about them. Really a good price for a nice watch
