Kurono Tokyo—Classy Customer Service

Recently bought the newly released Kurono Tokyo Hisui during the November purchase window. It arrived in December and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a stylish work of art. However, I was disappointed to discover after a few weeks of wear that it was losing time.

I contacted KT and they were apologetic, professional, and responsive. They sent a shipping label, covered all the costs, and kept me up to date on the examination and repairs. They cleaned and polished it and sent it back to me quickly.

It arrived today and I was surprised and delighted to find a personal note and a gift (a cool sake cup) for my trouble.

Very classy, KT. I’m impressed with your watches and your customer relations. In an age where good customer service is dying, this is much appreciated.

Amazing! Refreshing to see a luxury watchmaker actually treating their clients like luxury customers

·

Very cool! Now hurry and get a good WRUW with a cup of sake!

·

I love those watches. Everything on their websites sold out unfortunately but awesome customer service as well. A big win.

·

I am very interested in this brand, and hope to maybe have one someday. It is good to hear about their customer service, but I would expect nothing less from a Japanese boutique brand.

·

Wow. Definite customer for life vibes here. It doesn't hurt that they make really great watches too! 💯 🎯

·

That is one hell of a compensation gift! Straight from Japan!

·

love it and enjoy

·

That's great to hear. Thanks for sharing

I find that the minute and hour hands are difficult to distinguish and it wears like a 36mm. I am waiting for my Baltic hermitage glacier and salmon Furlan Murray chronograph to decide then see if I would sell this

At quick glance, yes, I think the hands are a bit too similar. I’ve found that after using a watch with these hands for a bit, it gets easier to distinguish them. I would’ve liked to see the hour hand a bit fatter, or something to distinguish them a just a little a bit more. With that said, I think this is one of the best looking set of hands out there.

8:10??? Yeah I agree with you, that is not a quick glance to catch the time kind of watch.

·

Their watches look awesome. I understand they can be very difficult to get hold of so well done on yours 👌🏽

·

Wow. I don't own a KT as yet but enjoy their very classic designs that are also very recognizable to the brand. I love your choice of colorway as well. It's great to know they excel at customer service. I think most brands (not just exclusive to watches) do not concentrate enough on this aspect of the experience.

Maybe not a quick glance but with a dial like this it is worth taking one’s time
