I’m definitely enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. In fact, I am considering crossing off a Grand Seiko from my wishlist because I like the case on this one so much better (unless I can put that other one in a different case).
However, I think I won’t go back to the stock bracelet for a while, because it has no taper. The taper on this bracelet is just barely noticeable, because it is only a 2 mm taper, but it still manages to feel slenderer in comparison. My only criticism of it is that having a third micro adjustment would be nice.
Ironically, I am considering pulling the trigger tonight on a Swiss watch after feeling pushed more towards the edge by watching a video about date justs.

#seiko5 is just pure JOY to wear! And I can second your assessment on the stock bracelets since I swap them out first thing out of the box 😂 I sometime source them from #aliexpress but #uncleseiko has some quality one that I enjoyed very much!
Someone mentioned a #datejust ?!
😂😂 Do post it here! I am looking forward to it!

It’s just on this one. I actually like the one on the SNX Seiko 5s a lot. They’re always a pleasure to wear.
Haha! No, no, no. I wish! I just mean that the videos were basically nudging me towards that style and generally a smaller watch on a nice, elegant bracelet. I’ve been looking at some attainable dressy watches both modern and new. And the “Swiss watch” will either be a Tissot, Mido, or Certian. Depending on how it wears, I’m either going to keep it or gift it.
Those baton indices and sword handset look great. Seiko does it best...
You now know even more why we've raved about this SNKL41. Welcome to the SNKL4x Club. Happy for you, man! ;)

Actually, i think these are called “leaf” hands. “Sword” hands usualy have a hilt at the beginning.
@CdeFmrlyCasual @drcarter13 The SNKL41, and many similar Seiko 5s actually have what's called dauphine hands. :) #dauphinehands
Leaf hands look like blades of grass...
Sword hands are easier to distinguish...
This Timex has a sword hour hand, a pencil minute hand, and an arrow seconds hand...
Cheers!
