Dan Henry 1962 white dial chronograph

I received an email from Dan Henry announcing the release of a white dial version of the popular 1962 racing chronograph.

This is scheduled for the 21st of March and this model differs quite a lot from the original panda. The hands are heat blued, the bezel is polished.

I don't need another 1962, but I thought it might be interesting since it's a very popular model and comes right after Omega launched their white Speedmaster.

Interesting take on the exotic dial. I still prefer the classic "panda", let's see how this one performs. The blue accents really help.

Pretty cool looking. The thing stopping me from buying any of these affordable mechaquartz models is that 24 hour subregister.

·

Love the steel bezel. IMO it ages better than the black aluminum one.

If only it was an auto.....

Got the same e-mail. Thought the same thing. White Speedmaster…? 🧐

But love my blue 1962

It's put me off so many watches!

Love the look, but can't say I'm a big fan of 24hr sub-dial on a chrono

If only it was an auto.....

Then it would be 50% thicker and X4 more expensive.

Agree. It's one of the most idiotic things to do.

They actually admit in the announcement that its a nod toward older white dialed Speedmasters.

True.....

Is it worth to add this brand to a collection?

It was for me. YMMV obviously.
