All my online friends deserted me...sniff...
I woke up today to the sound of a roaring online silence. The mailbox is empty, no one is asking me any questions, even the people that I usually annoy online are absent. I'm so lonely all by myself. What to do, what to do??!!
Well...maybe it's not so bad, after all not everybody that I know is still laying comatose after overdosing on eggnog or whatever it is that people drink to celebrate the birthday of rabbi Joshua from Nazareth. Or I could risk to annoy the cat instead, I'm sure that I can pull his tail at least one time - despite his supernatural reflexes and natural built-in weaponry
Or I could get myself a cup of coffee, some sweet honey cakes and play with my watches.
And that's how I ended up with the Zephyr, because what's the point of getting a new watch if it's not worn?
The red dial is playing very nicely with the morning sun, and I know that wearing it with a navy blue shirt will make me look classy and respectable, something at which I usually fail miserably.
All I have to do now is find the energy to finish the pastries and coffee and drag myself to the shower. I'm sure I'll be able to do it...eventually.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.

Love the photos with the red dial in the sun! You said it well - what's the point in a new watch if you're not wearing it! Thank you for the inspiration to get my Zephyr out and wear it - not just for dressier events. It's a great watch. Try to enjoy the silence & some of the more mundane things this season! If I had the energy. It’s just a non-event of a watch. It looks like any one of those MENS FASHION watch options you could get on AliExpress, and they would be equally as flat and shiny. I have to give Lorier some credit how they could make a watch that is both elegant and chic, and bulky and unwieldy at the same time, like a pig in a dress. I half expect it to have two little ball-bearings in it that you try and roll into two little holes at the same time with the dial grooves acting as some sort of maze, and when you do so it rolls onto its back, exposes its movement, and demands a carrot.
