Great exercise - I'd have to say the first option (Black and White). As I'm a big Grand Seiko fan, this was really tough, as I love all 4 GS models listed! There's just the tiniest pop of color on the seconds hand of the SBGY011, which is just perfect!. As others have added their custom/bespoke suggerstions,, here's my alternates for the diver/sport model in the B&W group (personal preference):

Rolex 16570 Polar if I'm allowed pre-owned.

OR

Grand Seiko SLGA015 or SBGE285.

Beautiful. I love the light blue dial/darker blue seconds hand, along with the black leather strap (the Grand Seiko branded buckle!!). Definitely one of the Spring Drive models on my short list 🙂. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful Grand Seiko! Although I love the dial textures on both the White Birch and Night Birch, I have to say the dark dial and Ti case of the Night Birch is a perfect combination (and is my favorite of the 2)! Thanks for sharing!

Great collection - it looks like you have all the bases covered! The Grand Seiko dial is such a beautiful green, and I'm intrigued about the Seiko GMT - that looks like a great daily wear. Congrats on the pending new arrival to your family!
