Anybody here into fishing? 🎣

If so, what’s a watch you wear when fishing, whether offshore or on a boat? For me I usually wear a g shock square or my invicta👀This pic of me was from like 3 years ago wearing my square.

I've fished all of my life but gravitate now towards salt water fishing, sharks in particular. My Timex tide/temperature/compass watch is the go-to for me:

Last year it was my Casio A-158. Here you see me giving a WTF look after something just broke my 24-ton carbon fiber reinforced rod at the base. I don't know what kind of shark it was, but it wasn't playing!

Yeah, love pikefishing in sweden. And can confirm that g-shock square tough solar is the prefered watch for this activity.

I live in NYC. It’s hard to fish but there’s no Trout here, only in the other parts of New York

Offshore guy normally wear 1 of 3 Rolex SD43, Pelagos or Marq Captain. When it’s tournament time I always wear my Marq Captain

No, but if I can catch a salmon-dial watch I might start.

·

Seamaster of course

·

Don't get to as much as I like. A couple times a year.

Usually wear one of my Casio's.

·

My kids , in their relatively short time, have fished more than I have my whole life. When I go fishing and get shown up by my kids, I'll wear my Duro or Timex Brick Sh!thouse.

Yeah, surfcasting is fun and unpredictable.

Love this time of year. Mostly quartz from the beach if I’m thinking about it. From the boat: anything that’s not vintage.

I would do nothing but fish if I didn’t have to pay the bills. I almost always sport my G-shock. It’s typically just too rugged of an environment for anything else. Although I’d probably feel fine with a less expensive but well built diver.

Apple watch with cellular for emergency on right wrist, on left either solar G Shock or bronze Norqain.

I like fly fishing, from clean mountain streams in the canadian rockies, to the flats of the florida keys.

My Pelagos keeps me company as I get skunked, again!

·

So fancy! Used to do some saltwater fishing but I almost never used a tackle and rod for my fishing. I use these bad boys.
