You can't go wrong with either. It may come down to size and function. I have a G-Shock and 2 Duros . Depending what I am doing you can go either way. Good luck with your decision.
I have both (all-black solar CasiOak, and the Duro in black), like them both, but if I would have to choose I would keep the CasiOak because of its features. And also I have some other divers (Tudor BB58 and some awesome microbrands, and after those, the Duro is just for very risky hard working days).

Dang that’s a tough one. I’m going with CasiOak but either way works. Just depends on if you want a diver.
Oh, the hands are not blacked out, so it's not unreadable trash. The G-Shock does more things.
I gave away my Duro & kept my black CasiOak. Overall I think the CasiOak is more fun to wear, lighter & more comfortable.
The CasiOak is a more versatile watch in my opinion. Plus I think it looks better.
I went with the Duro in the poll and in real life. The Casioak isn’t among my favorite G Shocks. I prefer the square 5600 models.
Neither, save a few dollars more and buy something actually interesting.
I hate my Casioak.... it's bulky, not great any anything useful, and mostly a hype watch.

I agree with this statement. It I was getting a CasiOak, it definitely wouldn't be the blacked out version.
Both 😁

Casio duro is a little more eye catching
