First marine nationale strap

As the title says. this is my first time trying a marine nationale strap. I must say it’s actually super comfortable. mind you this one is only a cheap Aliexpress one I bought months ago before I stopped using Ali. id definitely buy more of these (Be it from a different, more reliable, company).

I swear by MN straps, they are the most comfortable way to wear a watch in my opinion.

i have looked for a long time for something comfortable. It does help that i have some odd sensitivities to wearing some things (cloths, some watch straps, etc.). So far this has been one of the most comfortable thing I’ve had on wrist in a long time. hopefully it stays that way. cheers!

If you want to get one of the real marine nationale straps - go NDC they are the best:

Here is my Seiko Flighty on an NDC

I also have some that I picked up on Amazon (not even close to the quality of the NDC)

I personally recommend Erika's Originals MN straps, they cost as much as they do because they are well made. Erika's strap elastics are made to size "in-house", rather than being cut to width, or jammed into lugs they don't fit between. They are also stiffer than the less expensive options, which gives better stability when you have a heavier watch head.

Erika also has NOS MN parachute strapping, but advises that due to the age of the material it isn't as durable as new straps.

Totally agree - I forgot to mention Erika's Originals - I have a couple of those as well and they are just as good as NDC.

All great information. thanks. if I’m being honest. I was actually planning on going with a cheapest nato straps M/N. I’ve bought many of their products and have been thoroughly impressed. plus because I’m living in a super tight budget. the price really does make it easier to hit that checkout button.

I bet they will be good, but if you get a chance check out the Erika's straps at Holbens Watch Straps. He sells to us Northerners, and has a bit of a selection in stock at all times.
