C65 Dune in Blue

Anyone here happen to have one of these? There seems to be very few reviews written or on YouTube... And I would love to hear and see what folks think.

I've been drooling over Cwards latest release, and finally pulled the trigger... Hoping it comes soon!

Not a Dune but an Aquitaine. Just took deliver on Wednesday so don't have much time with the watch yet. In short, I'm really impressed. I'd say the colors you see on the website are accurate in person when maybe outside in the sun or under the lights in a watch shop. I know there are more reviews of the Aquitaine out there but I think they put the same effort into the hour markers, dials, case, etc. as the Dune

So far, the more I've worn it, the more I've liked it. It feels like it punches above it's weight in terms of value for price. Feels closer to a $2000 watch vs others I've bought for around $1000 that feel are at the right price point or don't quite live up to the price point. With my Cward, I feel a similar way when putting on one of my Seiko Presages where they cost around $400 but feel closer to $700-$800.

Another thing I've noticed is how much it "pops" in the watch box. They do a great job with the dials (and in my case also the crystal bezel) but the silver around the hour markers pops really nicely and something that I think is special in person vs seeing it in photos online. I've also really liked the dimensions of it. The ratio of thickness to diameter to lug distance seems to just work. Of course, yours is a different size and you have a different wrist, so will be a personal thing but for me, they really nailed the feeling of the watch.

One downside I had was around the crown. I just don't feel like they put the same thought into how the crown integrates into the watch as they did with how the rest of the watch fits together. Looking at it from underneath, the crown just kind of sits in space a bit, and the red part of the crown is always noticeable (supposed to be a reminder the crown isn't screwed down all the way).

Overall, love the watch. Feels really good, looks amazing, the crown is annoying but not something that doesn't make the watch worth the cost. Based on this one, I'd absolutely buy another from them (in fact, already looking at the Dune GMT limited edition).

I cant recall ever hearing much dissatisfaction from any CW owner or reviewer.

I have a black Dune, and I absolutely love it. Like @bishop27 says, the dial and markers are well done, and help it have a nice "presence" without being "blingy".

Awesome! Thanks for the detailed write up! It's helpful to see others find their quality so good! Mine is in Preparing for dispatch phase, hoping it comes quickly!

I think that’s a great way to put it, “presence without being blingy”. Also, beautiful black Dune! You’re making me really want to pull the trigger on the Dune GMT limited edition.

One thing I forgot to mention was the crystal is shaped differently, giving it some interesting distortion when you look at the minute markers. I personally like it, I think it adds some dimension to the watch, some might be bothers by it.

I can’t imagine your new purchase is too far away now, so the excitement must be building. I don’t have a C65 but did buy my first CW recently and it has surpassed all my expectations. I’m sure you’re going to be very happy once it arrives.

It shipped today! Should be here by end of the week!

I was also a little confused about the less reviews on YT, but from what I saw it is really value for money.

So if you like the aesthetics I would try it, especially with the 60|60 warranty.

Are you happy with you purchase?

So far only niggle is the squeaky bracelet...otherwise absolutely loving it! Even the movement is settling in to chronometer ranges!

your the 2nd person i've seen with a squeaky bracelet, are the links really stiff?

I've got 3 CW on bracelets and they are all silky smooth and have no rattle or squeaks.

I'm wondering if they try to make the tolerances too tight ?

The bracelet is great, other than the squeakiness, no rattle or sag. I think it could be the tolerances.
