NWA Just in time for Christmas: Studio Underd0g go0fy panda
I had forgotten I ordered this watch a while back and when I got the notification that it was arriving on Dec 27th, I thought “darn, would’ve been nice to get this before Christmas” like a surprise present to myself.
Lo and behold, DHL came through and delivered it early! It arrived today and I was like a literal kid on Christmas morning, as I ran down to greet the DHL delivery person at the door. I rushed to unwrap it right away and enjoy my new toy.
Alas, after a 10 month wait, it’s here! The Studio Underd0g go0fy panda. Its build quality, fit and finish, and its feel in the hand is better than expected for a watch of this price. The strap from The Strap Tailor feels terrific! Soft and supple.
Do I have any gripes with it? Nothing major. If there’s anything at all to gripe about, maybe it’s just that the strap at the 6 o’clock end has about 1mm of space to the lug, so you can see the spring bar with your naked eye. Is it an issue? No, not really. Just a minor tolerance problem between the strap and the 20mm lug width.
All in all, I’m very happy with my new watch. Congrats to @Studio.Underd0g and Richard Benc for their success to date. I have ordered Series 02 already and I look forward to receiving it in February!

i know what you mean! i feel the same about the watermelon! i chose the 🐼 because i wasn’t sold on the bright colours in the Series 01 watches at the time and the go0fy panda seemed like a safe but still fun option. for a while, i really wished i had gotten the watermelon instead, but now that i got the panda in hand, it just looks right to me and i love it and have no regrets. also, i have the bright colours of the Pink Lemonade coming for the Series 02, so i don’t feel as much like i’m missing out on the fun colours anymore.
Having seen this out the box, pictures don't do the watch justice. It's a great looking watch. Enjoy 👍
