How you all doing this evening?
Well I’ve just spent an hour building and tinkering with watches one of my favourite pastimes 👍🏻.
Those who know me, know I like blue dials or blue somewhere on the watch, so I’ve avoided that colour for a change.🤣
Here’s the latest build
Case is;
Dia 41mm
Lug to lug 50mm
Lug width 20mm
Thickness 13.36mm
316L stainless steel
Exhibition case back crystal and main crystal are both sapphire, movement is the venerable Sll NH35a, seems to be running well and I will pop it on the timegrapher in a few days once it’s been running for a while.
Dial is silver and has 6,9 & 12 highlights in red ( non lumed) the hands and indices however are lumed
The case has a nicely polished front elevation with brushed sides, super comfortable to wear and at a tad over 13mm thick nice and easy to slip under your sleeve 😉
I’m really pleased with this one, the ceramic bezel really catches the light and it’s definitely an eye catcher in the classic black and white colour combination. I have it on a oysterflex style rubber strap at the mo but I may swap that out for either an oyster or jubilee style bracelet…… we’ll see 🤔

Andy! This is a sweet build man!! I’m having to itch to build another here soon… really thinking I want to jump off the deep end and get into actual movement assembly so I can learn to service older pieces. TBD! Congrats on the cool build. You wear it well!
