My Xmas haul, NWA
Well it’s all over and so soon!
I hope you all had a wonderful time with your families and had some super celebrations!
Just a quick post to share with you ( if you don’t mind) some new additions to my hoard 😂
There is one range of watches I thought I would never really get into……quartz as I was always adamantly, a mechanical man.
One quartz watch in particular, especially as I’m a diver fan caught my eye, the Duro I find it a really marvellous watch at the price point and it is extremely well built, it is lastly one of the best all rounders I have come across.
As I have now fell in love with the Duro I’ve decided to collect the range. I already own the "blue" and the "Black & gilt" colours so my wife surprised me with two more on Christmas day!
Firstly the "Pepsi" bezel which is cool and the classic sports colours
Then a little later in the day when all the family had gathered for dinner I was presented with the "Green" bezel model.
I’ve already put this one on a bracelet and more bracelets are en route, so I can remove the stock straps which are ok but not my cup of tea!
Next on my shopping list are sapphire crystals for them as this little addition really lifts the overall look of the watch.
My next gift was a timegrapher as I like to build and tinker with watches it’s going to be a great addition to my tool kit!
Up until now I had to use an app on my phone which is a little bit of a long winded process, so this piece of kit should speed up the setting/ timing and repairing of watches.
Lastly a book on one of my favourite brands……..
Well there you go, my collection grows and my Duro’s are increasing in numbers!

Congrats, Andy! Excellent additions to the collection.
I love the Duro, I have one and very tempted to but the whole lot, but I am a man of steel, steadfast in my determination to not buy any more watches, just like @casiodean , all my resolutions are more or less intact, I have avoided cream cakes although dry January is not so dry after a recent trip to Aldi. The timegrapher looks amazing, I have nearly bought one too but I know it would end in tears. Has it got other uses ? I would suggest laying the heads of a few WC members I could name on it to see the beat and amplitude error. Oh damn just realised I bought a Swatch last night !
