Grandad buys his second grandchild his first watch!
Well my second grandchild started high school yesterday, nonchalantly whilst eating his evening meal at our garden table he says " I need to get a watch grandad as no/one tells you the time that class starts….."
He said he would like one that is metal and has a nice coloured ring around the face…….🤔
So off we go to Amazon and twenty minutes later it’s on its way a tikkers diver style ( not waterproof) watch that is "metal coloured"
He gets it today and is over the moon with his first watch, it may be small at 32mm and quartz but he loves it, holding it next to my divers he just smiles, and if I may say….. I think I’ve created a monster😂

My grandkid is making her entrance one day in the middle of October which happens to be my favourite month, I would love to be around when she starts high school but life is not infinite, I have made plans for a few of my watches to be reserved for her. Who can predict if people will still wear conventional watches in 16-17 years? I am guessing that a cohort will.

Ahh all this week been watching the nippers starting "big school" with vastly oversized blazers and backpacks almost as big as they are. Great watch and good size, I am sure you have anticipated in a year or two he will be 2ft taller and need a new watch!😀

So my son who's 22 let's me know he's in Las Vagas today. He's in the Swatch store and tells me he's buying a moon Swatch. He also lets me know that he can buy me one too. I didn't like a two colors that were left so I passed but we did get a pink Swatch for my wife birthday. There's nothing better than watches to bring you family together. Congratulations. Great story.
That's awesome! Since I've recently reignited my watch passion, my wife now decides we're giving Casio's away for the holidays. Fine by me! Lol.
