NWA Ming 17.09

Just bought myself a Ming, one of the recent pioneers in microbrands...

What do you guys think of the newly emerging microbrands?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! It’s awesome! I love this brand! Unfortunately, the pieces are very difficult to get from their official website https://ming.watch/collections/all . It is ALWAYS out of stock (Even the straps). Unless I purchase it from the Grey market It is almost impossible for me to get any piece.

Microbrands? I think they can be very good. But it's a spectrum, right? There are microbrands that are really just Chinese sellers who have come up with a slightly above average name that people thinks sounds cool and some sort of concept that grabs people's attention, but are really just churning out stuff that's 95% the same as everything else from Chinese factories. Then there are microbrands where the design, personnel, etc, are in some office in New York or London or Oslo and while their manufacturing may be done out of China, there's a ton of hands-on work being done within a real company, to arrive at the end result.

Sheeeesh. Looks good on you.

Stunning! I have a couple of micro brand watches, dan henry and zelos, they are both pretty great for the price!

love that colorway! I've never held one but I am fan of their Diver model

Congrats!! I really like the design but they are just too small for my taste.

Ming I love , I like the yellow honeycomb dial. MB are like the perfect mix between daily wears and luxury. A bit like  tailored jacket.
