After changing a badly scratched hardlex I got the modding bug.
Here goes in order:
Double domed sapphire crystal
Strap code jubilee bracelet
Crystal times coin edge bezel
NH36 hacking, hand wind movement.
Knurled signed crown
Ceramic lumed bezel insert
I love the finished result, and it's transforme my 10 year old SKX from a drawer dweller to my new daily wear.

Hey, man...thank you !! I was a bit concerned I would break something before I started modding my SKX, but I did do a lot of research before I got the tools out. There's a couple of how to vids on Youtube I would advise you to have a look at, Jody and Just one more watch does a good one about SKX Improvement/modding, and there's another by Mark at Long Island watch that's straight forward. Good Luck !

Well, I'm not sure doing by my self... As for the YouTube channel, I did follow Mark long Island.
For now, I did my homework research the sloping insert ideally fitted with dome glass, but still not sure the size etc.
Mean while I'm still checking my local watch mechanic to do the works 😅😁
This a beautiful rebuild!
