Well, I have had mine for a week now. I can let you know... I really LOVE it. It's my first big-boy incoming in a long time. It was an early Fathers Day / Birthday gift from my wife. She has NEVER given me a gift of this magnitude before.
At any rate, I thought I would not like the bracelet at all. I went so far as to place an order for a custom gator strap - 21mm > 16mm with @combat_straps. I really like the bracelet. The fitment of the endlinks to the case are not as seamless as Rolex, that I will admit. However, the overall lightness of being with this watch is part of what makes it unique.

That said, I sure did not care for the 'tude I got asking about the watch at a local AD. The Sales guy smirked when I asked about the watch saying I could not see one as they are sold before they hit the case. No "display only" models either. I guess these are unobitaniumn as well? It felt like I was asking to see a 5711 or AP Jumbo.

I had heard Rolex made some tweaks…and lugs may have been made slightly slimmer on the latest models…but I have no concrete info.
I do love Rolex.
Admittedly, the hype and supply situation due to instagram chuckleheads etc. has dampened my enthusiasm - a bit. 🤷🏻♂️

Yours is as good a theory as any…I’ve seen macro shots of other seconds hands…but I can’t tell if there is a cap “soldered” on the top of the hand or if the hand is indeed all one piece.
