My first automatic watch was an Omega Seamaster - mid-size…. Purchased off Amazon.I somehow had the idea I could not pull off a 41mm dive watch. I ended up buying said 41mm version shortly after the mid-size buy…then there was no looking back.
I still prefer watches < 42mm, but I’m fine with my Speedy. I do f own a Panerai any longer, but for the right price, I may get a Titanium someday to make use of a bunch of 24mm custom straps! 😂
Well I don’t really “have” an AD per se…but yes. I’ll look elsewhere. In my big city, there are too many dollars chasing too few watches and Instagram flexing is too much a part of the DNA.
Agreed. But I’m afraid the end result elsewhere would be the same - although the sales person may be nicer about it.
Another AD in town carries Rolex and Tudor…both cases are EMPTY!
I just got my first Spring Drive last week (GS. Winter)... I plan to get it serviced as required. I have confidence that Seiko will be able to repair / replace parts for a long, long time to come. I'm not worried..And, I plan to enjoy the hell out of it and the smooth sweep.
