Wyler Wednesday Eve

All of the Wyler Wednesday presents are wrapped, the Wyler strudel is cooling on the sideboard. Most of the decorations are up. We are almost to Wyler Wednesday, you can just feel it.

Shane wrote about it here. I have deep thoughts here where I discuss David Cassidy and the difficulty of getting the correct dates on watches. I am still considering getting that "Incaflex" tattoo, but I am worried that people will think that I am associated with Peruvian street rod culture.

By this time tomorrow this site will be flooded with pictures of several Wyler. I can't wait.

I like your post. I've often wondered why it's important for some--I imagine you fall under this category, obviously--to know the exact year of production of purchased vintage watches. I have a similar penchant for wanting to know but I don't work as hard as you to find out for sure. I can live with "maybe the 1930s?" sort of mindset.

I can't wait either. I only have a couple but they are strapped up, wound up and ready to roll. I can't wait to see them all.

I for one beg Maestro @Aurelian to grace us with at least one example in picture format.

Peruvian street rod culture

I didn't know that it was a thing, but now that I do I feel enriched by this knowledge.

I told @Shbamn50 earlier that I can’t contribute. I just make myself comfortable, grab the popcorn and a beer waiting for the tsunami.

Beuatiful watch btw.

For years "around 1950" was good enough for me. I was just poking around the internet and stumbled on the answer to a question that I wasn't really asking. Advertising material is sometimes the best way of recapturing lost information.

Is it a thing or just the first joke that Incaflex made me think of?
