Join Wyler Wednesday
After I wearing this vintage Wyler last week in WRUW @Aurelian came up with an idea. "Time to make Wyler Wednesday a thing." I like the idea and second the motion.
Tomorrow Wednesday March 20, 2024, the second day of spring let's make it happen. Wear your old and beat up ones. Wear your old and pristine ones. Wear your new Wyler Geneve ones. If it says Wyler, wear it!
I know you fine members of WatchCrunch in the UK have to have some hidden gems. Show them off tomorrow. You will be the top WRUW poster tomorrow if you post a picture, in person, at the Eiffel Tower. If you know the Wyler Incaflex history you will know the significance.
I know that the "W" is pronounced as a "B" in the UK and other countries. Here in the United States we pronounce it as the "W". We will greatly appreciate that you play along anyways. We would love to see these unknown masterpieces.

Edit: @Aurelian also pointed out that Wyler is also pronounced Veeler with the "W" being pronounced as a "V". When I first got mine I was doing the research and watched a video where the gentleman pronounced it as a "B". I should have kept to my Italian roots and pronounced it as a "V". It being an Italian watch. B, V, W, however it's pronounced, here in America it's W. 😂 Just join the fun any which way you say it.
I have been collecting watches for a while now. I have so many watches that I wear a different one every day. Cheap to expensive, if I like how it looks I wear it.
Saw one at auction last month but missed the deadline. I'll have to put this in the back of my mind for a future purchase! 👍

It may be in different countries. When I first got mine I was doing research on YouTube. The guy talking pronounced it Beeler. I will see if I can find it to share with you. It's been a few years.
