Most of what I own and wear are "dress" watches. For the weekend office diving I went with a vintage Vostok, probably mid to late 1980's. The dial has a bit of craquelure. I consider that the "good" type of patina. The availability of this sort of watch at the price I paid is why I can never be a three or five watch guy.
(Yes, I am trolling some of you amateur watch photographers. Gaze with dismay upon my composition and know that your fancy lenses and exotic location shots can never be its equal.)

Well played!
I'll be honest, I don't know why coffee is such a big prop in watch pics. It seems a bit silly to me, but I'm a drip coffee maker, with "fancy" Folger's 1850 Pioneer Blend kind of guy.
Great picture! 👍
Well done. Is there actually coffee in the mug? Just to keep it real?
Nice photo and a very nice watch. I'm very fond of my Vostok but it's nowhere near as classy as your vintage number!
Very nice watch, I present you my Vostok Amphibious, it’s not as nice as your vintage one but i just love it.
