Finally on my wrist.... Cartier Tank Must Large.
15 months of saving, 5 watches sold to help fund it, constant fight within myself to not settle for a cheaper alternative that ticked 'most of the boxes'.... So proud I stuck with it and achieved another grail. Sure it is quartz and ridiculously expensive for what it is, but the design language, proportions and history blow me away. To me, perfection.

Congrats - I am genuinely happy for you. This is a class apart and there is literally nothing that can replace or make up for Cartier Tank - You will realize it soon like I realized over the last 4 weeks or so when I got my Tank that once you start wearing this watch hardly any other watch can compete with sheer joy and iconic beauty of this watch - And the fact that you went for this size and not the largest XL size makes it even more perfect coz this watch looks best in this size which wears a little smaller on the wrist compared to most other watches of different brands - This is the BEST choice

A few Seikos left the building including the SKX007, FlightMaster, SWR049(Seiko Tank) and an SNXS77. I also let go of a Vostok Amphibia and the Bulova Lunar Pilot.... oh crap.... that's six watches not five! It was a good purge and I have no regrets. They have gone to new homes to make their new owners happy.

Sure does, well worth the wait. Took my daughter with me to experience the AD experience and to wear it first. It will eventually be handed down to her. Memories are being made from day 1👍

Congratulations! After a year of ownership I had Cartier make me a custom strap using the slate blue vegan leather (used for the limited edition solarbeat models). Feels like a new watch. Enjoy!
