So I'm a huge movie fan myself and I've been thinking about this fun concept for a while.
We all have seen so many examples of watches that were worn in famous movies.
The Seiko Arnie for example. BUT I want to turn this around ... I want you to think and tell me if the watches that you love and own, remind you of any movies, games or characters ?
There is no need to be any specific relations between the watch and the movie necessarily.
For me personally my Gstb400bd is terminator 2 judgement day
Its an unstoppable machine from the future 😎
I still gotta think about my other watches
Let's have some fun and hear your ideas

Yeah I can definitely see that 😍
Hamilton murph-Godfather, interstellar connection is obvious but the aura of the watch suits Godfather

Spirited Away - kinda reminds me of this movie, probably because of how kyoto also reminds me of the movie setting, but also the dial reminds me of the movie

Mine too 🍻
My Casio DW-290 would be Weekend at Bernies. Probably because of the teal and because it's odd and would be a good watch to have in such a situation lol
Nobody’s Fool because I like Paul Newman.
I cook in restaurants and bars for a living. My go to for work and home is a resin G Shock. You can time multiple things, date function for food storage. You can bonk it on all the hard surfaces and get it soaked in whatever. Dish water, chilli, grease, oil, blood, ranch dressing etc.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not above taking a diver or a chronograph to cook, but it's got to have a silicone or rubber strap, I don't want to scratch bracelets plus it can be a safety hazard. Fabrics absorb food smells and smoke and light colors can stain. So leave your nice NATO's at home. Leather is going to become a food safety problem.
The real enemy is grease. Once you get it in your timing bezel, it'll be slightly more griddley and impossible to get out. Same goes for your chronograph buttons.
