Lately I have been wearing my Santos on the strap more frequently than the bracelet. As brilliant as the bracelet is, apparently I am just more of a strap guy. I think straps can compliment the overall aesthetic of a watch and provide warmth in a way that bracelets frequently can't match.
What do you think?

I‘m usually a fan of watches on bracelets but I have to say that the Santos looks dope on a leather strap. 🔥
The strap really puts the attention on the watch itself. I really like it!
That watch looks awesome on the strap (but it also looks awesome on the bracelet).
Is that a WSSA0030?

It is the WSSA0013, the blue dial with the metal hour markers. I believe the WSSA0030 is the grey dial with the grey ALDC bezel. I took a hard look at that too, but I think the blue dial is a little dressier.

Oops, I got my reference numbers screwed up. It is indeed the WSSA0030. My mistake.
To me puttting a santos on the strap ruins the original vibe.I can understand why you like straps more though!
I don’t have a strong opinion about the strap, but that blue dial is 🔥🔥🔥

It's y understanding that the difference between the WSSA0013 and WSSA0030 is something to do with the buckle provided with the strap, but otherwise they are similar.
Beautiful watch BTW. I definitely want to add a Santos to my collection, but need to be able to see them in person before deciding if the large is going to be too big for my 170mm wrist. I love the blue dial, so I'm hoping it works, but I'd be OK with the white dial medium version as well.

I respect your opinion. I do wear it on the bracelet every now and then, but for me the strap just works.

I liked the blue dial because it was sportier, but the white dial is really nice too. For me, the medium version just seemed a little too small. I also like having a date and the medium version doesn't have that. I think the date is integrated into the design really well.
Mate, the watch itself is a super-cool piece. Congrats on that first of all! I guess the strap just underlines your personal preference, in that case perhaps a more neutral, 'softer', elegant choice? The bracelet-option on the other hand makes it look more rigid, though, perhaps 'bossy' even. So its all about what you feel comfy with :) Enjoy! #cartier

perhaps a #cartiertank for you instead then? :)

I'd actually like to add both to my collection :-)
It's funny how tastes change over time. When I started collecting, nothing from Cartier appealed to me, and now I find myself wanting both a Santos and a Tank.

Same here, same here :)
I just received my WSSA0037 (Santos De Cartier Large with black dial and ADLC bezel), and although I prefer the look of the bracelet, I find the rubber strap to be more comfortable. Given how easy it is to change between them, I suspect that I'll be bouncing back and forth between them for a while :-)
