The SS8 is the same calibre as the Shanghai B, 8120 or SB1H -- same movement, differing nomenclature.
There will be more photos and info coming in a full article, but this is to introduce (I hope I have this right) Mr. Ren Yifan, who is an acknowledged craftsman and collector, and one of the group leaders of a small but very organized group of independent young watchmakers in Beiing.
