Looking for new watch
Hello everyone! 😊 I'm in the market for a new watch and I've narrowed it down to two models: the Seiko SPB121J1 and the Seiko SSC911P1. What do you all think? Which one do you believe offers the best value for money?

I enjoy collecting watches as a hobby. Although I am still new to this interest, I am proud to say that my collection currently has 7 watches, including Tissot and Seiko.

Yes even I like the spb but the case size is little bit small as per my liking plus it comes with leather strap which I didn't like that much
I would go with the Alpinist. For me, it's a no brainer. It's the one watch I would talk to my wife about purchasing. We never talk about our spending unless we don't have the money hidden away. The Alpinist is worth the talk.

How do you feel about two green dials😉. I decided to only have one green dial in my collection (so far). I would move to the Prospex. Good luck.

Just wants to confirm it holds value right as compared to automatic movement because this is big money I am spending here almost half of my monthly salary.
Alpinist is the winner here my friend. Speedtimer is nice and all but that alpinist is a different story all together. Hope this helps.

If value retention is your criteria, then you probably want to look elsewhere. You can check Chrono24 or Watchcharts to get an idea of prices on the secondary market
