Islande x The Urban Gentry Rangemaster is an affordable watch that was built for everyday used either for indoor or outdoor activity. The brush finishing on top with a polish on sides help the watch versatility. It able to be dress down with a NATO straps or dress up with the bracelet or leather straps. The 38 mm diameter and 10 mm thickness is the perfect size in the wrist for daily wear watch. It will not limited our wrist to do our daily activity for sure. The watch is truly a straps monster and with 20 mm lug width, it makes it easy to find straps to play around with it. The dial is very fictional, clear, and ease to see in a glance under the bright sun or dim situation. The 3, 6, & 9 surely a reminiscence of a Rolex Explorer. In the heart of this watch beats a Miyota 9039 movement that gives us 28800 beats per hour with a 40 hours power reserve. All and all, this is a watch that everyone should have in their collection for their daily wear without scared to get stolen, scratch it and draining their bank account.

If they would make this a regular production piece I could see myself buying it. Only making 500 units feels like they are trying to make it a collector piece that goes crazy on the secondary market.

I was not thrilled when it launched but my opinion became more positive with some time passing. I think now that it's a model that could sell in reasonable numbers if it was made available as part of the regular catalog.
