How to integrate beloved timepieces in your bedroom, so you have always sweet dreams
For the number of watches I‘m living with, a watchbox isn‘t adequate for sure. I own 47 watches and there‘s no end in sight. I don‘t like some boxes stored around, I like it smooth, I like it settled, most of the time. Don‘t like to present my treasures to the world. So I built 3 drawers with an aluminium front into 3 teakwood shelfs from the 60‘s in a nice way, not in the face, reserve, not to interfer the design of the shelf. The drawers are lined with purple velvet, Prince would have loved it and it‘s cosy for the watches.
How do you manage to store your watches, when there are some? Please show me your ideas to handle this need to store your treasures!🙏
Born 28.12.1960 and still looking good. I collect years, every kind of art, beautiful moments with my people, some weight, and last but not least time/watches

Very cool and clean set up! Makes me wish I could lay my collection flat - unfortunately couple deployant straps stopping me. I plan to go to a furniture solution soon, but probably won’t be as nice as this. Lovely job! 👍

It is about the watches, which is why I need pillows. Sadly, I love my bracelets, so cannot go flat.

I‘ve done by myself, cause I can. I was a carpenter for years, so it worked out well, I think. So you have to find somebody to realize , what‘s in your head, could cost you a kidney 🙈

Right after I finish a new floor, redoing the sideboards, safe cabinet, etc. oh and a 60 hour job and a wife to spend time with. :-) This is my one refuge.

60 Hours is to much! And I know this etc! It‘s hard, but as long your wife likes to spend time with you and don‘t call you a creep, there‘s a silver lining🤝

Every morning it puts a smile on my face, when I open it up and see the bright warm light from my treasure oozing out of the drawers. Like John Travolta opening the Box in Pulp fiction or opening the ark of covenant in some Indiana Jones Movie. You bet, you ein👍😁
India being a humid country, have to keep them stored with silica gel and dehumidifiers. I keep mine in boxes but I like what you have done here. It’s like free range watches , if I may call them so 😅
