Rado True Square Skeleton

My wife is a huge Rado fan (and customer) and since I have none in my collection, since I also have no ceramic watch and no square watch, she wants to buy me for christmas a new Rado True Square Skeleton. Full ceramic, automatic, skeleton, 38mm. The white one is very unique, the black is the ado signature color, plasma/grey is very modern... (Personal choice: white)

White is sick!

So difficult.

Actually I love the Plasma High Tech Ceramic. The visual optic just blows my mind....just by the fact that it looks like super high polished gunmetal.

To be honest I like the other open heart style better. This one:

But unfortunately it is not avaiable in Plasma I guess, only in black.

The black bridges on the dial of the new open heart disturbes me.

But it is persobal preferences.

So if you really want to chose only from these three alternatives, I would say: White. As the bridges on the dial are at least in the same color.

But it really depends on your style.

Btw. I love Rado and the True Square line. That's why I ordered allready for myself. But the green dial with Plasma.

Rado is one of the most underrated/under appreciated brand with great heritage and design, especially in their ceramics (as you know)! Love mine! Happy hunting 🤙❤️🤙

The white looks really nice with the gold accents in the skeletonized movement. Looks the most premium too out of the three.

Both the black and grey look very dull and meh with the silver accents.

From the open heart I like the black/signature a lot. Tried it on last year. Its really elegant! The white was horrible. The indices were different I remember.

From the new skeletons its really a race between plasma or white form me.

From the non-open/skeletons... yellow is king!

It really depends on the style and where it sits in the collection...

I like the black with those bronze colored hands. Somehow when I view the white too long all I see is all it's whiteness and the parts of the movement that are viewable disappear. The white needs more contrast.

You will not believe it, but i got the black and silver open heart 🤣 it was a killer deal for arround 1'200chf (instead of 2'500 retail or 2'100 with a cashback offer). Should arrive this week. The plasma skeleton is nice, but not worth the price difference.

Woohaa....awsome.

Yea...totally agree. For that price that was an nobrainer.

If I would had the chance I also would had pulled the trigger for the black silver opean heart.

Actually here in germany the prices did rise to 2,800 for the open heart.

I also had a great deal for my green Plasma High Tech Ceramic and I don't want to miss. But the beautiful finished opean heart is still in my mind.

So let's see if I buy it aswell or deside rather for another skeletonized model from Eado like the Diastar or Captain Cook.

Enjoy it when it arrives and publish some pics here.

Woah... 2'800 is a lot, even if i import it (-19% mwst. +7.7% swiss mwst) its the same price as in switzerland. We have a cashback deal and i can get it at 2'100CHF but its still a lot. Maybe i will swap mine in 2-3 years for a skeleton plasma...lets see how the market evolve. 1'200 (from a dealer in spain) is great, since its in mint condition, and even if i have to fully service it, its just about 500chf more.
