The first of the artisanal tier three handers from the cult-followed Japanese micro-brand Kurono Tokyo. The hamon (mountainous terrain) patterned dial has a transparent layer of urushi lacquer that will either darken or brighten over time depending on how often it is worn/in light. Its reddish-brown hue is meant to evoke a sunset sky. I outfitted the watch on a noir Hermes strap, making it a fun and formal piece 💪.

What a gorgeous piece man 🤯
He does make a handsome watch. I love the dial on that one much more than the second grand akane, the red/brown is a lovely tone. Did you see he is launching another chrono next week?
Beautiful!! Dare I ask how much these masterpieces cost?

Yep. Looks great but I have my eye on a different prize right now so don’t think I am putting my hat in the ring for this one.
