Add me to the Santos fan club. I too believe the medium with no date is the way to go. The date on the large model negatively impacts the symmetry of the dial. I also love the way straps can be changed so quickly and the bracelet adjustment is amazing. I am jealous yichards but happy for you!

I thought that too.. then learned that the santos was probably the first wristwatch ever on top of being the first pilot watch ever made. Crazy history behind it

im 6.25" and glad I went with the medium. Perfect fit in my opinion.

I’m in for a Santos. I also have a 17cm wrist. Sizewise there is no problem to wear the large. IMO it’s more of a question what you like or the purpose. I see the large more as a tool watch even if it is a schratch magnet.

Love my Santos Medium. I find it perfect on my 7.5” wrist. Oddly enough I find the Large with the date too big.
