I was always happy with the electro luminescence until I got my GWM5610U and the LED backlight is so much better. I still like the EL backlight but I prefer the LED.

Yes although the LED light is less evenly distributed compared with EL light, it is actually much more legible in complete darkness. I’m leaning towards the LED light after I got my GW5000U.
