Meet up Berlin with Cruncher’s & Crackers?

Would be the first time for me to organize something like this.

Just wondering what the crunchers looking for :)

Bit to far away from Allgäu for me. No plan to visit north currently.

The good thing in Berlin is that our public transport is quite good even at night.

Sad but understandable… probably in the future It will fit. :)

Is the yellow super car yours ? Or your grail car :)

Google maps shows your in real time the connection. That’s what I use as well. Just chose start+destination as usual and google shows your the options and your good to go :)

In Berlin there are surely a lot of places possible for a meetup. I would be interested but my calendar is quite filled. I'm sorry i don't know if there was a meetup yet👀

And could you please drop one or two ideas of how to make a meet up great (from the wacht enthusiasts perspective 😁)?! What do we need for „sure“ ?!

I totally agree. Berlin has also quite „big“ of history in wacht making.

In general I am open for the date. At the end we have to figure out a day for the crowd because it should be a day for the crowd 😊

Indeed it is. Yes kind Sir i'm living in Germany, but on the completly other side of the country. So it's a rough and long trip to Berlin,but i would be willing to take it, if the date fits.

Very nice that you are also interested! I agree Mitte is probably a good option.

I am not sure how everyone feels about showing many (sometimes expensive) watches in public. Probably it’s good to chose a less busy spot.

Yes 30 years. cars you see with a H registration plate at the end of the number. You would definitely see them in Berlin. My bretiling chrono is definitely the top choice.

Right, we have few number plait’s with the H around here. Specially in my area.

I know a few places in Mitte we could meet. As far as showing expensive watches is concerned....unfortunately since the big bank Vault robbery last year, my collection of expensive watches has reduced somewhat as I lost about 50 of my best pieces on that fateful day in November and as a result my choices are rather limited anyway. I find that most collectors turn up with something on that isn't too brash first time around anyway. I know a place with a "sort of" separate room off the main café that people might be more comfortable in when showing some pieces and talking smack. Also, serve a decent cappuccino. It all depends on when we meet and the timings as I am in London 1 week per month and in Cyprus 1 week every month.

I would appreciate a separate room or something close to that.

Even we don’t have the most expensive stuff on the table… price tags are often different feelings when you ask different person. For some I could be expensive to Buy a watch for around 100-200 bugs.

I feel your lost. Man 50 pieces… all the sweat and tears you put in to build your collection. And all the cash your invested …Such a bad experience.

I mean when we find some guys ( we are getting close to become a small group 🙌) we can start dropping some dates. So we can see if we find some possibilities.

One member already mentioned August as possible month.

I am also cool with that to catch up monthly or so.

There is a store in Schöneberg they sale fortis, tutima and sometimes also Sinn watches if I am not wrong.

The shop is:

Leon Lazar - Goldschmiede & Uhrmacher - Meisterwerkstatt

Then you can try exchange Ag in Steglitz, Ku’damm,

Friedrichstraße and Wilmersdorfer Straße.

They have the best watch offerings and from time to time Sinn watches as well.

At Oliver Platz is a interesting shop. But I have no personal experience with them. I just know they exist and they have often interesting watches in there window.
