My kids only ever want to "see the money" so only ever interested in the Rolexes and the exact whereabouts of my will! As for the rest of the non watch caring community I interact with ...... Bright colours seem to get their attention, not much else!
Just saw this and can confirm that GS and Seiko have on the fly hidden micro adjustable barcelets. They often do not mention this feature in the marketing or on their website. I have a Seiko Astron on order that incorporates a really nice one that is not much bigger than a normal GS clasp. It's crazy that Seiko believe that the wealthier collector doesn't have wrists that alter in size. It's mad and infuriating but I know they are intending to roll this out on the GS 20mm bracelets very soon.
This one HAS micro adjustment but no mention in the websites.....

I have also played the AD game here in Berlin and in the last 2 years I got an Airking, which needs replacing since the robbery so now is on order again!, and a 36mm Datejust but they laughed at getting on the list for a Daytona....I should just go buy one 2nd hand and save me some money I think!! I had a 1966 exotic dial Paul Newman once but sold the thing back in 2005....One of my biggest watch regrets.......not the only one unfortunately......but I used the money to buy a BMW and a Rolex "Zenith" Daytona, both I sold a year later.....Now your watch is my current favourite but seems impossible to buy from an AD within the nedt 10 years (my ADs current estimate) ..Hindsight is 20/20.....
Yep. Agree with most here. Leave it alone! It looks great as it is.....don't make it look like a new watch. What would be the point?
A rare Roman numeral 116231. Looks better in the daylight. It's a small watch though. Definitely worth trying it on before going for it. I rarely wear it as it's so much smaller than all my other non dressy watches.
