Time Heals All Wounds

"Can I finally put a watch on this wrist?"

It's been a while. Three times in two years I've had to deal with people blowing Stop signs and one traffic light, totaling a pair of lovely Vespas and, this last time, breaking a few body parts. Everybody complains about it now, but for now I'm working my way back to (full) mobility, with more cheer than grumbling. And now, I can wear something on my wrist again as a small sowing of process. Yes, it's the Seiko that I bought online while I was in Mexico late last year, and of all the quartz Seiko's I've owned over the last 30-plus years, it's the one that enchants me in a way I thought one of these could again. There'll be another Seiko in the wings soon to celebrate getting back on my feet (a 5 GMT, likely), but for now it's great to glance at this.

Sorry to hear about your issues my friend however I’m glad you see you’re on the mend. I hope the people responsible were held accountable.

On the mend here also. Great watch, sorry about the Vespas, get well soon.

Lovely watch. That can't have been an easy post to write. Recovery is a really slow and hard process. Good to see you enjoying that wrist milestone! Stay strong!

Recover well, and let those watches enchant/inspire you to full mobility! Please share pics of that GMT on your wrist when you get it.

It’s tough to ride these days. I can’t really enjoy it anymore. I don’t get hit, but I have to assume everybody’s blind, drunk, stupid, and on the phone. And if you have to spend the entire time hypervigilant, it’s really hard to enjoy the ride.
