My favorite beater, and the very first ARMITRON watch that I bought. I randomly found this at a Walmart, it was love at first site. I changed the bracelet out for a cheap Walmart, $7 dollar strap (rubber). It was soon my go too watch! It is definitely one of, if not the most, comfortable watch that I own. I could not find the brand name of the watch anywhere on the web, nor have I ever seen it again for sale. If anyone has ANY information on this watch, I would be happy to know more.

Very nice and original I think!!
Armitron is an older budget brand. There's nothing wrong with their watches, but I think Casio offers better value for the dollar in the segment as a general rule.
Casio has a decided edge but Armitron is a great company with an interesting history.
I have a couple of their reissues of 80's-90's classics.

I got my Griffey coming today in the mail from Amazon! I went with the silver with blue numbers…I know the Red numbers is more authentic to the original. I want to see how that looks on my wrist before I buy that alarm chrono you are sporting. I love Casio..but what I like about ARMITRON is that it is more of an outlier for a collector..I like the fact that not everyone is collecting ARMITRON. Plus, I like the unique American history of the brand.
Right! I thought the same thing when I bought it.
They're rare as rocking horse you-know-what in the UK but I like the look of the analogue models.
It's a Casio contender, but the moment Casio decides to open the flood gates with actuals steel reissues of the old Marlins it's gonna get messy. By the way nice watch.
Looks like Ref. No. 20/1345 but with slight differences.

Also looks kind of like Ref. No. 20/1927P. Click here.
Newer version of it is apparently on Amazon: Click here.
P.S. Can you post a picture of the caseback? Does it have the Ref. No. on it?
