Most Overrated Iconic Watch

To follow the lead of the most episode of About Effing Time, I wanted to create a poll to determine the watch we watch nerds feel is the most overrated. All of these 4 watches are absolutely icons, but are they overrated? And if so, which one is the most overrated?

I chose the omega Purley because they keep trading on the fact it went to space,

The Submariner and Speedmaster maybe the most boring watches but not overrated. They still serve a purpose and good watches for the price. They both have history of being created for a purpose.

The Royal Oak and Nautilus both run on the same train but the 5711 is one of the most overrated watch, a stainless steel watch being traded for ridiculous price and personally not a fan of the dial design or the hands. I would pick a Royal Oak as it has something more going for it in terma of the dial and the overall watch being better.

Anything Genta from the 70's onwards. Genuinely find the whole style a case of "Emperor's New Clothes".

And the Speedy shouldn't be on the list - it's the only one with any real achievement & imho the most iconic watch ever made ( no I haven't got one & wouldn't want one )
