What a beaut!!! Does the blinking light indicate anything, or just for being fancy AF?

It blinks every second. It’s meant as a battery indicator. It fades over time

Beautiful watch but if there is a blinking light anywhere in my peripheral vision I would go crazy!

·

This is completely unique. The pillars as hour markers, wow, simply wow! 💯

·

I’ve seen them before. I wish I could afford one very much my kind of thing.

·

This is very cool! I can imagine people seeing quartz watches for the first time with this futuristic blinking light. I'd want one pretty badly... Screw automatics 😱

·

Yes the 70s had very bold designs. And Quartz was the thing back then. much more expensive than automatic watches and built to last

i will post a lot more soon. follow me

it’s not bright. you see it only directly from the top. in dark room it’s more visible.

That's beautiful💯. Love those indices. The early quartz models as so under appreciated.

That pcb, that dial, all is just wonderful 70s bold and looking cool as hell!

·

WOW 🤯 You dont have to put on the red light ...

you know the bomb timers in movies that always blink red? it is like that!

·

btw Citizen also had models with a blinking red light in it‘s Crystron range. But they blinked only once per minute

Very nice, got one of these too. My circuit is slightly different with a blue substrate and smaller quartz tube. I believe it could have been a replacement circuit from later on in the 70s when it was in for a service at Seiko.
