I have an SPB149 that I've sort of fallen out of love with. The weight is awful and there is far too much reflection off the crystal. I much prefer my Zodiac Super Sea Wolf.

I love the case shape and dial design of my Vaer Pacific but the AR coating situation is dreadful. I just see a sheet of blue every time I wear it and Vaer told me that was normal when I reached out to customer service. Probably wouldn't buy from them again.

I still have that impulse, over a decade into collecting. I maintain a list of watches I want and periodically update it when I see something new or realize I don't really want something currently on the list. For some strange reason, this works for me and greatly curtailed my purchasing. When it's been a while since I got a new watch, I check the list and make a purchase!
