Except that Omega isn’t down more, that looks like all good news to me. If I thought these prices had anything to do with quality, I’d have some misgivings, but I think another 20% drop would be fine.

No snark intended - can you explain the endgame of tracking these stats? Is it purely for people using watches as financial investments? I don't understand.

Be interesting to compare / review Swiss watch retail prices across the major brands, I feel like prices have climbed considerably - is that data on @watchbites too?

Interesting data point... let me see if I can incorporate that into the newsletter somehow :)

Not that... I just have access to data and sharing it with the world of watch nerds as I find it interesting myself :) And hopefully by providing interesting information to y'all, some will sign up to the free watch newsletter that I publish each week... that's the goal atleast.

It's not meant to influence any buying/selling, just provide cool and interesting information. Hope I'm doing a decent job of that.

I mean - all the best of luck with the newsletter. I just am wary of watch info framed this way because it seems to pull the focus towards speculators / flippers. But if people are interested, people are interested.
