New Zelos Meteorite!

I just had to share my most recent purchase… the Zelos Swordfish Meteorite dial in blue! The dial is just stunning! 40mm, 46mm L2L, 200m, Seiko NH35, hacking, handwinding, screwed-down crown, lumed bezel (excellent action), sapphire w/ AR, with a travel case and cigar box! Hard to beat all that for $700! But check out that dial… stellar!!! (pun intended)

Love your watch!

I love Zelos! Hunting for the Burnt Orange Dial Spearfish. One on ebay but looking for another source.

The dial reminds me of the film The Matrix

That blue meteorite dial is gorgeous. The main appeal of Zelos watches for me is the awesome dials.

You should check the Zelos web site occasionally. I regretted missing out on both the Blacktip Diver 41 in Crimson Red, and the Burnt Orange Spearfish. I happened to be on their web site in November (2022), and they had shown 4 in stock after having been sold out. I was able to pick one up before they quickly disappeared again. I ended up having to pay the full $749 USD post launch price, but it was well worth it.

Thank you for the info and help.

I've check a few months ago and their sold out. They don' restock. They limit production and only bring on new designs of the previous model. Keeps the watch value and demand. So hence second market.

Thanks again!

Cheers!

I know that they normally don't restock, and not really sure why they did in this case. I had missed out on the burnt orange model when it was launched, and really regretted it.  I just happened to go to their site to grab a photo of the burnt orange to use for another post about "missed opportunities", and there were two models that no longer had the "Sold Out" banner, with the burnt orange variant being one of them. It showed they had 4 in stock, so I jumped on the opportunity. That was Nov 10 and I received the watch on Nov 22. They were back to showing as "Sold Out" the day after I placed my order.

I bought mine new via eBay from a professional dealer and it was FedEx‘d almost immediately and I’m  wry satisfied! I know eBay can be sketchy sometimes but I’ve bought a few and sold a few this past year and haven’t had any issues.

For sure! It’s very otherworldly.

The same seller on eBay that I bought mine is selling the burnt orange Spearfish for $899, “excessxpress”. They have 100% positive feedback selling 7.7K items. Like the old phrase goes “you buy the seller”, so I personally would rather pay a little more or full retail knowing it’s coming from a reliable source. #zelos

Thanks for the advice.  Appreciate the extra help!

Lol the exact same dealer. Glad to hear he's trust worthy.  Making it so temping to jump on  it!

I know go for it!

Check with the wife lol.

Let you know if I do it.

Cheers!

Very nice! I don’t have much experience with Zelos, but those who like them seem to really like them. I dig the bracelet. Seems to have more angled bevelling on the links. Reminds me of the bracelet on the Halios Universa.

·

Score!  Haven’t pulled trigger on any zelos yet, but I’d commit on that one.  Beautiful 🤩

·

Nice! I like the combo of toolieness of the case and blingy dial.

·

I think Zelos are putting out amazing watches at the moment. I have a Mako V3 Ti with the Fume Teal dial and it is just so nicely executed. I couldn't pull off the 46mm though!

Hahaha yeah, that’s way to big for me. That’s why I went with the 40mm Swordfish.

Yes! I was pleasantly surprised by all the angles on the bracelet links. It’s very well done with the bevels being polished but it overall still looks brushed.

Stunning watch. I have the steel Hammerhead 3 with meteorite dial. And a bronze HH3 with MOP dial.

Awesome! How long have you had them? Have they held up well?

The steel I wore as daily driver for long time. The bronze several months. Like the patina. They are still my choice when going out. On holiday abroad I prefer a Casio.
