Also am currently saving up for a watch. Am looking at something either around US$1,000 or US$2,000..
Any suggestion? Was thinking of the Longines Heritage Sector, Oris Aquis Upcycle/Calibre 400, or wait for Dietrich SD-2…

My suggestion is never to buy a watch based on other people's suggestions. That will just put you in the same situation you are currently in. Wanting to sell a watch you just didn't connect with.
It's good to ask people who own a watch what they think of it, so you can get more information about a watch, but we are all different. Only you know what you will love, and only you will be wearing it. Keep looking, until you fall in love with something.

There is a lot of variation in the Oris Upcycle dials. I’d recommend getting one from a local AD and trying on the exact watch you’re considering buying first, or you could end up with a color surprise.
