Incoming Tudor GMT
I have been looking for several months for the new Tudor BB GMT with the opaline dial and nobody has it in stock. Anyway, I broke down and purchased one from a gray market seller and it should be arriving next week. I cannot believe it is taking Tudor so long to get these watches into stores! It is only a dial change so not sure what is taking so long? I am excited to get mine - should be eraly next week - and will be sure to post some pics!

Did you have to pay more at a grey dealer? I’ve had the black dial for several years.
It seems commonplace for all these popular watches to be delayed at ADs. I went to my Tudor/TAG AD, they didn’t have the opaline dial GMT, the new burgundy (red) BB master chronometer, or the new BB in 36,39,41. Nor did they have the new TAG’s, Carerra 36, or the sapphire box chronograph.
Heck most Omega AD’s haven’t receive the Seamaster AT 38mm with those cool color dials, and that was released more than a year ago.
I ended up paying $20 less than if I purchased through an AD when all was factored in. Of all places, I found it through a seller on another forum. I think I will still receive all warranty since the watch is still new?
Drew - How do you like your GMT? I am excited but I've read the reviews about what a "slab" the watch is so I hope I like it. I have other watches with the same dimensions so I do not think it will be an issue.
My Tudor BB GMT arrved today and I could not be more pleased The dial has an amazing luminescence to it that looks both silver and white with a retro look due the aluminum bezel. Two concerns that have gotten their share of bad reviews have proven to be non factors (so far) 1) the bulk and thickness of the case. I have other watches with the same dimensions and it fits my 7 inch wrists perfecty with wrist presence, and 2) the bracelet rivets. These are hardly noticable and add to the retro look of the watch.
Before the announcement of the new GMT, I was in the market for a Rolex Pepsi or a Coke with an aluminum bezel. This watch checked all the boxes, not to mention was 30% of the price.
