I broke my promise to buy 1 watch/year. But for a good reason!
I bought these 2 watches back in October to remember the day my best friend and I left Kharkiv (after spending 2 days in the city that was heavily attacked by Russian army).
I hope that we can survive and keep them till we are old and then pass them to our children - to show them the value of life and friendship.

I would not consider that breaking your promise. One was a gift and they mark a special bond with a friend.
