For some reason this watch has become a cult classic. I guess we all know the value it brings and how it looks timeless. I love my Bambino. It was not the first mechanical watch but my second (got a Seiko SNK first)
I do think it's classy for what you get; it just works as a dress piece and the creamy dial really elevates the package. Although I find myself really wearing this with suit and tie ๐, I think I might find more time with it this year.
How does everyone feel about the Bambino? I know it's overated and been mention so much...

Like many I bought one but never wore it. I gave it away in the end. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, but it was never the best option. ๐คท

For sometime Ive been thinking about giving it away too; just can't part with it yet ...
Great photo shot! I try to wear it, all the weddings and formal stuff has dwindled down throughout the years so it's getting way less wrist time...
Yours actually says โWater Resistant.โ Some say โWater Resist.โ Itโs no biggie, but I prefer yours. I have been on the cusp of buying one of these forever. I wonder if thereโs a way to make certain that mine will say โโฆant.โ
Yep, love mine.
I almost bought this a couple of years ago but since I donโt dress up much I chose the Kamasu and itโs still part of my rotation till today ๐๐ผ

OMG, so I'm not the only one. I bought a gold/black bambino and it was just too dressy for me. I'm planning to give it away to a co-worker who is also into watches.
Its on rotation on my wrist but I replaced the black strap it came with
Loved my Bambino 38mm, but gave it away to my nephew as his first automatic watch. He wore it to Homecoming with a baby blue suit and it went really well with his outfit
I got married in mine. Still love it.
I just hate the water resistantโ on the dial. Other than that, itโs a beaut.
Iโve always loved watches but I guess not really an โenthusiastโ, so Iโd never heard of Orient until I watched YouTube and saw it in forums. The quintessential budget hyped watch with all the superlatives, โA must have in any collectionโ, โbest bang for your buck automatic mechanicalโ and on and onโฆ
And I bit, got two, one I bought the other a gift (I suggested the gift). I never wore the blue dial one and just gave it away recently, and seldom wear the 38mm with the cream dial and blued (painted) hands. Do I love it still? No, never did.
It's not overrated. It's a great entry level dress watch and does not get perceived as anything but that. I bought my Bambino in 2017 - the first good automatic watch I'd ever bought. I call it the old king and it looks nearly pristine till today.
I'm selling though. It needs to have the wrist of new entry level enthusiasts. I have upgraded as well. I think the Bambinos will be irreplaceable as the go-to entry level dress watch.
I loved my Bambino. I'm a big fan of wearing a dress watch casually. I think they look great! I loved this so much, I went searching for an upgraded version and found the Omega Seamaster 1948 London Olympics special edition. See the similarity? ๐ค
Love the Bambino.
I love the look but will never get one as I would only probably wear it rarely
I'm going to try to wear mine more this year; if it stays in the watch box for too long ... Maybe find a new home for it
Stick an Artem sailcloth strap onto it and you will never wear anything else again :)

I really gotta give in and just get some artem straps to try .... Not just for this but any of my watches
