Okay guys, I am thinking about adding a new watch to the collection.
I can't decide between the new Omega Speedster 57 in black or blue and the Chopard Alpine Eagle..
I really love the speedy since it is something very different, but I do have a soft spot for integrated sports watch.
I have a Nautilus, Overseas and Laureato in the collection and I kinda want a RO and an Alpine Eagle to complete it.. on the other hand, I don't have any speedmaster...
What do you say?
Get both, it looks like you could buy the speedie with what you find down the back of the sofa :)
You certainly seem to enjoy your high end sports watches!
They are two very different watches. Although the Speedmaster is an icon and very recognizable, I would lean towards the Chopard because it is more unique. The Chopard has a luxury sports watch feel like a Royal Oak, Nautalis or Overseas. Why go to the moon when you would be so much more comfortable going to the club?

Haha ja die speedy ist schon sehr stark 😄😄
If you look for a watch to have a conversation over, then take the Chopard Alpine Eagle. I sense this watch will very often will require some sort of (defensive?) explanation, unless your conversation partner knows his watches.
The Omega Speedmaster 57... well, it's a Speedmaster. Everyone and his uncle has a Speedmaster, so there's nothing to talk about. Unless you want to engage in a conversation about what's so special about that Speedmaster 57.
That's my rationale and not necessarily applicable to your decision process.

defensive Explanation is nicely said haha I get what you want to say ☺️ thanks!
Get the Speedy first, see how you li it! If you don’t bond with it, no problem… sell it on to buy the other one!
