Nothing in the frame looks ’distorted’ so it must a lens at the ‘tele’ end (50mm or above on full frame). The belt already looks blurred which indicates its either a ‘short telephoto lens’ with a wide aperture or a ‘long telephoto lens very far away’. It can be done if you have long arms/dexterity. Or just put your phone/camera against an object. Put a mirror (or another reflective object behind the camera so you can compose the shot). Or if your camera is fancy enough, view the image on your phone. Edit the photo or apply your filter of choice. You can ’reverse engineer’ most photos to figure out how they’re shot.

Just need to train your eyes to know what to look for. The principles of photography haven’t really changed since it began, so plenty of people have gathered and passed down the knowledge for us to apply it to today’s camera technology
pro technique: hold left arm in normal position, right arm with camera and whole body in contorted grand mal awkwardness and try not to draw a crowd while performing the contortion act - easy 😀

I’ve tried this so many times, but always end up deleting the shot. 😂👍
