JLC Mystery Dial
The latest addition to my collection is this 18K vintage JLC with the Mystery Dial. I've been fascinated with mystery dials on watches and clocks ever since I first discovered them. I really like the illusion of the hands appearing to float over the dial with no obvious explanation as to how they work. A local watch dealer had advertised this piece for sale on a local forum, and as soon as I saw it, I decided to head down to his shop to check it out. At approx 33.5mm it's a bit smaller than I would like, but it was in great condition, including the original box, so I decided to pick it up.
