For a lot of people that is an expensive watch (and certainly my wife thought so when I asked for it as a gift!). It's a great watch and superb value. I had a SRPD63 for a couple of years and it got far more interest and admiration from non watch enthusiasts than the Alpinist I upgraded to (which nobody has ever noticed on my wrist). I realized I don't like the dive watch look but had it not been for that, I think I'd have been happy with the SRPD as my one and only watch for several years.
I have a realtor buddy who made 500,000.00 cad on his most recent commission, loves watches on other peoples’ wrists wears a $38 Seiko with an inexpensive Chinese movement, one of 6 that he bought from a famous Toronto discount store that ended operations selling the property to developers. My friend is a genuine watch enthusiast just does not feel the need to spend big bucks on the passion.

Congratulations thats a nice watch and price point doesn't matter. A watch 10 times the price won't be 10 times as good.
Monetary value is pretty irrelevant, it's what the watch means that matters.
Budget is such a relative term. Nice Seiko.
Woww!
Nice watch. Forget what people say or how much it cost. Do you like it? Yes? Then enjoy it. 🙂. That’s the most important thing.

That’s just flat out a good looking watch. Good for you that it was reasonably priced. Great WOW per dollar ratio.
